The Nampa Dog Park has been a valuable resource for locals and tourists alike since it opened in 2009. The fully-fenced space attracts dogs from miles around, allowing pet owners to exercise their pup off-leash without worrying about other animals or traffic hazards that might be present on city streets where they live/work (if outside).
You and your pup will love the wide range of facilities at Nampa Dog Park. It’s all available to bring out whatever type of dog you have from fenced areas for dogs to play in or open fields with plenty of space around them.
There’s a swimming pond, shade shelters, and walking trails named after dog breeds. There are also lots of trees with drinking fountains (for dogs as well as humans) that are conveniently located throughout the park to help keep your pup happy during their visit. The best part about this place? It has designated areas where large or small/senior can play without being in someone else’s way; it cares about all pet needs.
Situated at 2900 2nd St S, Nampa, ID 83686, United States, The Nampa Dog Park is a perfect green place where owners can take their dogs out for an hour or so to let them run around in circles while they burn off some steam. Meet new people and build friendships with others who share your interests.
The dog park features Benches, Drinking Fountains (for humans and dogs), Large area to play with their pets in an open landscape. There is plenty of shade throughout the picnic site and small/senior accessible benches that will keep everyone cool on those hot days. The swimming pond makes it easy for your canine companions too. They can take advantage of it from morning till night without worrying about getting lost.
The rules at this park are meant to make sure that everyone and every dog has a safe, enjoyable visit. So please follow them. Well-intentioned dog owners who fail to dispose of their pet’s waste properly create an unpleasant and potentially unhealthy environment for other park users. Doggy bag dispensers are conveniently located throughout the facility, so please help keep your local green space clean by disposing of these pesky pooches’ leftovers. It would also be great if everyone made an effort to pick up missed stashes; after all, we should take care of what we do and how much others around us live.
Your pup must be on a leash except for the designated off-leash area when in the fenced dog park. Keep them leashed while outside of their autistic-friendly zone to prevent running into traffic or getting hit by cars since drivers may not see you.
