Nampa, ID is located 20 miles west of Boise and is one of the larger cities in the area.  The estimated population was 103,215 in 2020.  The population continues to boom as many people are moving from the west coast to this beautiful area with a lower cost of living.

Ford Idaho Center – 16200 Idaho Center Blvd, Nampa, ID 83687-5012.  This venue is known for their rodeo and stampede events.  It is also used for trade shows, sports events, concerts and more.  

Warhawk Air Museum – located at 201 Municipal Drive, Nampa, ID 83687. This is a very interesting museum with historic Warbirds, memorabilia from Vietnam, Korea and WWI and WWII on display.

Canyon County Historical Nampa Train Depot Museum – 1200 Front St, Nampa, ID.  This is a fun museum that is beautifully preserved inside and has a miniature train set running that is really fun for kids and adults alike to watch.  They provide tours that are also very informative with wonderful employees.

The Nampa Recreation Center, 131 Constitution Way, Nampa, ID 83686, is a huge 140,000 square foot facility with six pools, racquetball courts, a track, three gyms, weight room, climbing wall and running track.

There are 24 parks in Nampa, the largest is Lakeview  Park –  1227 East Orson F Persons court Nampa, ID 83651. This extremely popular park has something for everyone.  in addition to the beautiful rose garden, grassy areas and swimming pool is an amphitheater, baseball field, basketball court, BMX trail, pond and a picnic area.
