Situated at 201 Municipal Dr, Nampa, ID 83687, United States, Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa is another excellent museum for those who love aviation. The focus here falls on the side of transportation, but some fascinating displays represent warbirds. A perfect day spent hanging out with family or friends would be visiting this museum.

The museum in Nampa is a large, hangar-like building on the east side of town. It tells all about air combat and has some great exhibits to transport you back to when this was still an exciting profession.

The Warhawk Air Museum is a large, open-air hangar at Nampa Municipal Airport on the east side of town. It’s home to some incredible warbirds from throughout history, including planes used in conflicts that shaped the world’s history, like World War II and Korea.

When you walk through the doors at Warhawk Air Museum, it is impossible not to be impressed by all that John Paul has collected over his lifetime. From rare airplanes and the vintage mechanics-in fact, these two passions are what led him here – there’s no other place like this. People come from near and far just because they want to see something special; then others drop off WWII memorabilia or donate money to keep saving more planes for future generations.

This place is a must-see for history buffs and those who enjoy learning about the past. It features exhibits on old photographs that will make you feel like traveling back in time during Vietnam’s war era.

The aircraft in this fleet are all beautifully maintained and ready for any occasion. They include a Fokker DR-1, a MiG 17 plane (which may be one of the most famous fighter jets ever), a P40E Kittyhawk airplane similar to those used during World War II, and other warbirds. There are also five different types: two planes each from Korea & WWII, plus another Moscow-made Soviet documented model – 51C Mustang or 84G Thunderjet.

The Curtiss P-40N Warhawk is a flying machine that has been restored to its former glory. This warbird appeared in the movie “Pearl Harbor” (2001) and was one of the most starred aircrafts during World War II.

The collection at the Military Museum is like no other. Display cases brim with fascinating memorabilia, and there are binders full of interesting personal accounts from veterans that fought in wars past. You can take guided tours when available or explore on your own as well. The displays inside this building contain some wonderful pieces-including military uniforms worn throughout history.
